Introduction

The HACCP SmartStep™ Footwear Sanitising System adds an additional layer of pathogen protection. Ideal for wet or dry food processing facilities to reduce cross-contamination from footwear before staff enter the production area or other critical hygiene zones. 

 

How does it work?

This foot-operated footwear sanitising unit uses compressed air to deliver an atomized spray of sanitiser onto footwear soles. This spray provides ample coverage to footwear soles, yet uses only 5mls of chemical which minimizes chemical waste and improves moisture control. Collection basin is easily accessed for cleaning.

What sanitiser should I use with the SmartStep?

We recommend to use Everswift 70/30 No rinse surface sanitiser in these units, as it is highly evaporative with credible efficacy in passing the EN 1276: 99.99% kill rate.
